Unfortunately, like in many corporations, Helen’s talents went largely unappreciated by upper management year after year. That’s when Helen began building a part-time business on the side. One day Helen was called into her superior’s office. Helen didn’t wait to find out if the topic was a raise, a promotion, or more likely --a lay-off. She just said, “thank you very much, but you’re fired,” left, and never looked back. Today, Helen puts her skills to work for her own thriving home-based business. And no one could be more appreciative.
